The HUFT Strathspey & Reel Society is led by fiddler Claire Gullan and you will play arrangements of great Scottish & Irish tunes. The next Strathspey and Reel will be held on Wednesday 22nd September at 7.30pm (UK time). You can buy a ticket here for the Strathspey and Reel (£4 +booking fee). All the tunes will be uploaded to Hands Up for Trad’s website and you can learn and download them here. It will be fun – we will play for 45-60 minutes! There are 36 great sets of music and more to come!
Claire will take you through them at different tempos. You will be able to download them beforehand so you if you have time you can practice them.
To take part you will need to download the free Zoom client. If you’re using a desktop or laptop download ‘Zoom client for meetings’ here. If you’re using a phone or tablet you can use the Zoom app instead on the iOS or Google Play app stores. Both are free! When you download the app you will have to sign up but it will be worth it!
