Band Name:Píonta

Band information:

Hello! We're Píonta! A local and fresh trad band created through there RCS BMus course. Our group consists of 5 members that are all currently on the same course. Hamish Martindale on whistle and highland bagpipes. He is 18, has been playing pipes for 10 years and loves running and playing rugby. Sarah Miller aged 17 on the violin who has been playing for 7 years and loves baking. Stella McIntyre (18) originally from Ayrshire plays the clársach and loves a bit of rock climbing. Niall who is 17 and his specialty is the acoustic guitar and also dabbling in some photography. And finally Callum Gibbs our percussionist who is 18 with main specialism being pipe band snare drumming and bodhrán, he is also the newly crowned 2025 World Champion for pipe band snare drumming. We formed this group from becoming real friends through the RCS course and decided we wanted to put on show some of the talent we can produce as a team. Both these tracks submitted are our heart and passion for the industry which we had a blast to record and play together.
