Unique sound/music studio space in Leith from £5ph

The Noisefloor is a new way of hiring studio space. It is a DIY facility for audio creativity – a sound lab for experimentation, sonic exploration, production, art and design. Falling somewhere between rehearsal room, recording studio and production suite it offers what many people need for their audio practice: a dedicated, affordable, sonically treated, professionally equipped space in which to work.

The space has been extensively soundproofed by a qualified acoustician and features industry standard equipment including an RME audio interface, KRK and Genelec monitor speakers plus various microphones, keyboards, MIDI controllers and peripherals. Regular users include electronic music producers, sound artists, podcasters, composers and voiceover actors.

We are currently offering membership schemes that guarantee access to the facilities at your convenience, starting at just £20 per month. The more hours you commit to, the cheaper the hourly rate – as low as £5ph. On-demand sessions are also available at a basic rate of £12 per hour, as well as a Pay As You Go scheme that gives free credit with every top-up.

For further information or to arrange a visit please see www.thenoisefloor.co.uk, or call Dave House on 07594 245521.

The Noisefloor is open between 8am – midnight every day and operates out of Music Base, a new creative hub in Leith.

Location: Edinburgh City, Midlothian
