Tinto Summer School is back in person for 2022! We look forward to welcoming participants aged 11 (entering high school) – 17 back to Wiston Lodge (South Lanarkshire) for a great week of music, song, fun and campfire song! The dates are 4-9th July 2022 and all instruments and levels of ability are welcome.

Tutors this year are:

  • Josie Duncan (singing, songwriting)
  • Michael Biggins (piano, mixed instrument)
  • Graham Rorie (fiddle)
  • Luc McNally (guitar)
  • Alana MacInnes (flute, whistle)

All instruments are welcome. If you don’t play one of the main instruments above you can join in the ensemble classes which are great fun.

Tickets for the week are £360 (all accommodation and meals), extra family members are: £340 and we offer concessionary places at £150.

Each place at Tinto Summer School actually costs £500 and Hands Up for Trad subsidise the amount from our own funds. If you would like to sponsor a place or make a donation for a young person you can do so below.
