Tickets are now on sale for TradFest Edinburgh | Dùn Èideann!

Celebrating traditional culture in all its forms with a feast of flavours, TradFest is now on sale, with 131 events across 34 venues and locations in Scotland’s capital.

26 April – 7 May

The TradFest team along with the community of folksters have been busy beavering away behind the scenes to bring you a mosaic of music, storytelling, dance, folk film, folk drama, arts and crafts amidst seasonal customs.

TradFest is more than just a listing of events. It’s a genuine, dynamic festival experience grounded in the city’s environments, people and cultures.

As a signature event for Scotland’s 2017 Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology, TradFest connects creativity with heritage, to give ownership and pride to all of Scotland’s citizens in an inclusive way. Scotland’s culture is our living heritage which is open to all to enjoy and share!

So whether you want to simply soak up an atmospheric session of song, or delve into discovering the fascinating heritage of Edinburgh, there’s something here for everyone. We’ve pulled out some themes for you below to get you started.

We’ll be bringing you more information over the coming months ahead of the Festival, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions or queries.
