Queensferry’s 3rd Annual folk festival – Saturday 28th September in the Priory Church, South Queensferry

This year’s acts include Rona Wilkie, who is a stunning fiddler and 2012 BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year. We also have Tarneybackle, famous across Scotland for their trademark close harmony singing. In addition we’ve been able to secure Gerry Callaghan and Bookends with their short, punchy story-songs. Moreover we have Marc Duff (ex Capercaillie) demonstrating the amazing versatility of the penny whistle. Plus pipers from the Uphall Station Mini Pipe Band, not to mention our own workshop players. And it’s all under the watchful eye of our compere Graeme Pearson, well-kent South Queensferry musician.
