Paisley has been announced by the UK Government as having made the shortlist for the next stage of the UK City of Culture 2021 competition. This is great news as the Scots Trad Music Awards will be heading there on Saturday 2nd December!
Paisley 2021 want to thank everyone who have played their part to date – the past 18 months has been a team effort, with community and cultural groups, young people and schools, businesses and more all working together to promote our town. More than 30,000 people have so far taken part in the conversation around the bid and helped turn it into a mass movement, and they are grateful to every one of you.
The next few months are going to be hugely exciting for the whole town.
