Nollaig Chridheil Dhuibh Uile / Merry Christmas Everyone

All of us at Hands Up for Trad wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. There is a much strife in the world just now and hopefully you are able to enjoy some peace in the next few weeks. If not, our thoughts are with you.

We will be back in January with a busy start to the year with Battle of The Folk Bands, BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award and then Seachdain na Gàidhlig (World Gaelic Week) and we look forward to seeing you at one of these whether on television / YouTube or in person.

Here’s version of musician Johnny Cunningham’s beautiful Scots poem about building a snawman and the magic of the changing seasons, animated for Scots Hoose by Gary Welsh.
