Mandolin Jam, Glasgow 21st June

From Laura-Beth Salter
On the 21st of June I’ll be hosting a mandolin jam to celebrate International Music Day.

A few of you requested a lead session to recap repertoire I have taught over the last few years. It will be an inclusive, relaxed session and I will go over any tricky bits of each tune before we start.

Although I have called this a session, I would like the event to be as inclusive as possible, so we wont just go rip-roaring into all of the numbers. I’ll go through each tune slowly, answer any questions, and talk through the chords if anyone would like to focus more on accompaniment.

I will provide a mid-tempo recording, sheet music and tab for each tune in case you haven’t heard them before, or would like to have a go at any before the night, but no rehearsal necessary!

You can buy tickets for the evening over Paypal here and once you have done this you will be emailed a link with all of the files.

The event will take place in the side room of Avante Gard, 34-44 King Street, Merchant City, Glasgow G1 5QT and will go on as late as we feel like!

If you would prefer not to pay over paypal just drop me a message and I will reserve you a place and send the music file in advance.

Cheerio for now!
