Inspiration Award 2017: Grace Stewart Skinner

Grace Stewart-Skinner is a 5th year pupil at Dingwall Academy. Grace has cerebral palsy and is a determined and very good young harp player. She has been going to the Feis Rois residential courses in Ullapool since she was in primary school, and she is a regular attendee of the International Harp Festival in Edinburgh. For the past couple of years, Grace busked every single Saturday afternoon at a local café / farm shop until she raised enough money to buy her own clarsach! Congratulations Grace!

The photo is by Louis DeCarlo and features Grace with fellow award winning The Elephant Sessions.
