Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme is in the running to win a National Lottery Award,

NLA Awards Vote buttonGreat news! The Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme is in the running to win a National Lottery Award, the annual search for the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects. (http://tinyurl.com/pmvawhl)

Beating off stiff competition from 620 organisations to reach the public voting stage, the Programme is now competing against the six shortlisted organisations to be crowned the winner of the Arts category.  If the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme wins the Award in its category the £2,000 cash prize will be donated to UNICEF, the official charity partner of the XX Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014.

On behalf of the projects we have coordinated the nomination and are now asking for your help to encourage as many public votes as possible to boost the chances of the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme winning this award.

Here’s what you can do:

To vote for Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme, please go to www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards or telephone 0844 836 9707.  Voting runs for five weeks from 9am today Wednesday 24 June until midnight on Wednesday 29 July.
