Gies A Scots Poem Day is back on Friday 13th June and it’s really braw that we are partnering with the Scottish Poetry Library to make it even better! As ever we are asking everyone to write / record / video their favourite Scots verse and post it on social media on the 13th June with the hashtag #GiesAScotsPoemDay. This is the Scottish Poetry Library’s 40th anniversary. Bringing people and poems together is at the heart of everything they do, aiming to transform people’s lives through exciting experiences and creative engagement with poetry – the ‘spark o’ Nature’s fire’ as Robert Burns wrote.
