Folk In Crisis Fund – Can you donate?

Stonehaven Folk Club teamed up with Hands Up for Trad in March 2020 and donated £5000 to launch Folk In Crisis Fund to provide grants of £250 to help towards living expenses of Folk artists and support personnel severely affected by the Covid-19 crisis. With donations from other clubs and the public the fund has topped £18,000 in March 2021 with more than fifty musicians and support personnel helped out to date.

We all thought the end may finally be in sight however with the Omicron variant arriving on UK shores and most performances cancelled many musicians are worse off than ever before. So the crisis has definitely not gone away and we need to fundraise. Can you help? Any funds raised will help pay the artists who perform on the night and enable more grants to be paid out.

If you are both willing AND able to help support folk artists and support staff whilst they cannot work during the pandemic, a donation to the fund will be much appreciated!!
