Fiddler Alasdair Fraser and cellist Natalie Haas to perform at Ayrshire’s Craigie Folk Club this July

The organisers of Ayrshire’s Craigie Folk Club are hugely delighted to announce a very special summer concert this July with the world famous master Scots fiddle player and composer Alasdair Fraser, in the intimate setting of Craigie Village Hall, Craigie by Kilmarnock. The sat nav code is KA1 5LY.

The concert, on Tuesday 17th July at 7.30pm, features Alasdair with his long time musical accompanist, dynamic young Calfornian American cellist Natalie Haas. In support will be popular Ayrshire-based husband and wife singing group Stephen and Pernille Quigg. The Quiggs perform Scottish traditional and contemporary song. Tickets costing £12 are available from Dave Dewar on 01292-312974 <tel:01292-312974> / mobile 077 655 73240 <tel:077%20655%2073240>, email dave@cultural-connections.co.uk To book online, the price is £13.16, which includes a booking fee. As capacity is limited and demand for tickets is expected to be high, early booking is advised. The event is unlicensed so BYOB. Teas, coffees and cakes are sold at the interval. Food is available from the nearby Craigie Inn. Their phone number is 01563-860286 <tel:01563-860286> and booking is recommended.
