EUROPEAN FOLK DAY 2024

EUROPEAN FOLK DAY 2024

Make sure you are part of the
European Folk Day
this year on or around
Monday 23 September.

Absolutely everyone can participate (you don’t have to be an EFN member although we’d love you to join) – and it’s very important to note that participation can be on the Folk Day itself but also on the days just before and after 23 September.

The European Folk Day website is updated ready for you to add your event to the interactive map & listings- and there are already events posted from early-bird organisers!!

And if you want any ideas – just  read the full report of 2023 – the remarkable first year.

And musicians – you can now add your favourite track to the Music Repository.

The website is also full of useful downloadable resources, including logos, a 2024 press release, translations into many languages and FAQs, plus contact emails if you need to ask questions or get info from the Folk Day team .

So – start planning your participation
in this truly pan-European celebration of folk music, folk dance and storytelling!
