Hands Up for Trad · Distil Showcase 2022

The Distil Showcase is an annual event where composers from the traditional music world write new work for Mr McFall’s Chamber. The Distil project which started in 2002 and has annually been working with professional traditional musicians giving them opportunities to share their ideas with musicians from other genres.

The musicians take time out of their busy schedules to come to a residential weekend where they meet the tutors and they share ideas and learn new ones! This is the first Showcase since the start of lockdown and we are very excited to hear the outcomes!
