Can you help musicians Innes Watson and Amy Papiransky raise money for their CDs?

We are very lucky in Scotland to have some many creative people making great music. Both Innes Watson and Amy Papiransky are raising money to make their debut solo CDs at the moment.

Innes Watson’s Guitar Colloquium

Innes is an amazing musician and hero to many musicians. He is the principal guitar tutor for the Traditional Music dept at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and fiddle player and founding member of the genre busting Treacherous Orchestra. The Guitar Colloquium is a new project to address the lack of repertoire written specifically for guitar, especially in the traditional music world, and the lack of guitar-guitar collaboration. That’s what my Guitar Colloquium does: creates and shares new repertoire to challenge and support all ability levels and facilitates guitarists to collaborate and perform together. Amy Papiransky

Amy’s main love is songwriting and has been writing songs since the age of 15. However, it is only this year, after making it to the finals of BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician Competition & with support from ‘Hands Up For Trad’ and positive feedback / support from musicians she has always looked up to, that Amy feels brave enough to finally share these songs and head into the recording studio!
