Award winning CalMac Culture Music 2016 is open for entry! Are you a singer song writer or band member? Would you like the chance to play a set at some of Scotland’s biggest music festivals this summer?
CalMac Culture 2016 is bigger and better than ever – this year entrants will compete for the chance to take to the stage at nine famous festivals. You or your band could win a slot on stage at one of the following events:
Hebridean Celtic Festival
Tiree Music Festival
Best of the West Music Festival
Mull of Kintyre Festival
Bluebell Festival
ButeFest
Oban Live
Iona Music Festival
Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival
CalMac Culture Music winners will battle it out on the iconic stage at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Thursday 31 March 2016.
Entry couldn’t be easier, simply upload a video of your original act to YouTube, fill out the entry form and make sure your video meets the following requirements:
Your YouTube video entry must have a full description, containing a reference to the competition and a link to www.calmac.co.uk/music
Videos should have the following phrase in the title ‘CalMac Culture Music Entry’ and contain the event hashtag #CalMacCulture
CalMac Culture Music 2016 will accept entries from 9am on Wednesday 17 February 2016 until 5pm on Thursday 17 March 2016. Finalists will be announced on Wednesday 23 March 2016.
