Bronze & Silver Arts Award Adviser Training

This course is for children and youth workers, artists, teachers, librarians, historians, education specialists, carers and others who work with young people who want to become Arts Award Advisers at Bronze & Silver levels. Advisers are crucial to Arts Award. They support the children/young people while they are working towards their Award and assess their work at the end, before moderation.

What is Arts Award?
Arts Award is…
• a great way for children and young people to be inspired by and enjoy the arts
• offered at five levels, four accredited (Explore, Bronze, Silver, Gold) and one introductory award (Discover)
• a framework for learning new skills and sharing them
• an opportunity to develop creativity and leadership skills
• a link between young people and creative arts professionals
• accredited by Trinity College London
• soon to be on the SCQF

To become an adviser you will need previous experience of working with children or young people.
