Congratulations to the 4 bands who have made it through to Battle of The Folk Bands 2019 which take place at Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow this coming January 19th at 1pm at the Drygate, Glasgow. Hands Up for Trad picked the 4 bands from a number of high quality entries. Simon Thoumire, Creative Director of Hands Up for Trad said:
“Yet again I’m astounded at the quality of musicians we have in Scotland who are all making such great music. The standard of the bands that entered Battle of The Folk Bands show our folk scene is in very good working order. Come along on the 19th and hear a fabulous concert!”
