Assistant Creative Practitioner – early years (Aberdeen City Council

Geronimo is a 12 week pilot project which aims to strengthen family relationships through quality creative time for early years children (0-5 years) and their parents / carers. The Assistant Creative Practitioner will be supported by the Geronimo Lead Creative Practitioner and Creative Learning staff to devise and deliver Geronimo sessions and associated CPD. These sessions will take place weekly on a Tuesday from 13/09/16.

This programme of workshops will explore, through the arts, an open ended and fluid approach to play, creativity and risk. Children will be encouraged to make their own creative decisions, facilitated by the artists. Parents / carers will learn how to engage with, and support, this process and will gain confidence in their own creative potential with regards to their children’s development and learning.

The fee for the Assistant Creative Practitioner is £1500 (plus travel to Aberdeen)
