100 Colourful Scots and Gaelic Words to use in place of ‘said’ in Scots and Gaelic

Do you ever get fed up of using the same words all the time? I saw a guide written by organisations Strategies for Writers and We Are Teachers of 100 Colorful Words to Use in Place of “Said” (Download it). It is a great idea to increase and vary our language skills.

Hands Up for Trad asked award winning writers to make versions in Scots (written by Matthew Fitt) and Gaelic (written by Angus Peter Campbell). Please download, print and use them with your children / or in classrooms.
