Anada pa Gael by Duncan Chisholm, Xose Manuel Tejedor

327-Gordon-DuncanWonderful slow air Composed by Xose Manuel Tejedor

Duncan Chisholm began to study the fiddle aged 8 under the tutelage of Donald Riddell. Duncan recorded his debut album in 1988. His break came as fiddler, and instrumental frontsman with Wolfstone, and he toured the world with them for many years. 10 years after his debut came the release of the sublime ‘Redpoint’. Duncan also played for some time with Blazin Fiddles. Jose Manuel Tejedor started playing the bagpipes at the age of 9. He won many prizes in his birthplace Asturias and abroad, including the Macallan Trophy in 1990, 1993 when he met Gordon Duncan. He is part of a group called ‘Tejedor’ together with his brother and sister.
