Burns wrote ‘Ae fond kiss’ after his final meeting with Mrs McLehose (Clarinda) on 27 December 1791 before she departed Edinburgh for Jamaica to be with her estranged husband.

Corrina Hewat is a Scottish harpist and composer[ who was awarded Music Tutor of the Year at Na Trads in 2013. She has worked with pianist David Milligan and has written music for the Dunedin Consort. She sings with Shine.
