When and where did the company first start trading?
We started trading in March 2012 at our current address.

What made you want to work in Scottish culture?
We all have a keen interest in Trad music and identified the need to
provide a facility which could promote Scottish traditional music to
the local community.

Can you tell us of any particular company highlights?
We now have 200 students per week and 10 outstanding tutors including
Iain Fraser (fiddle), Paul Chamberlain (Accordion/Piano & Steve Fivey

What are your company’s plans for the future?
We are commited to growing our student numbers and instruments taught
while still maintaining top quality tuition. We are also looking to
expand our on site music café where students can relax with a coffee
and maybe a tune or two.

How will you celebrate receiving Hands Up for Trad’s Business
Limelight award?
We will make an announcement to our students and local press then
probably a wee session with a dram or two!!
