When was the last time you did some creative writing? Submit your secrets and confessions to the Scottish Book Trust

Are you ready to ‘fess up?
Submit your entry online by clicking the link below and filling out our form.

You can write in any form you like – story, poem, song, letter.

We openly encourage submissions in Scots and Gaelic; please submit an English translation with your piece.

Entries should be no longer than 1000 words and should be written on the theme of secrets and confessions. This theme can be interpreted broadly but stories must be true and about something that happened to you.

By submitting your entry you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before submitting.

The deadline for submissions is midnight on 22nd June 2016.

This project is for adults only, and we will only accept your entry if you are 18+.

If you are submitting on behalf of somebody else, please make sure they have understood the terms and conditions and enter your name in the Forename and Surname fields, adding their name in the pseudonym field.

Once you have submitted your written entry, it will go through a brief moderation process and will appear on the site in a few days.

If you are having problems uploading your story, please email: frances.campbell@scottishbooktrust.com
