The Soutar Festival of Words 2022

The Soutar Festival of Words is a celebration of Scots language and culture inspired by William Soutar. Taking place from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 April, the festival brings together an exciting line-up of authors, playwrights, musicians, poets and performers at over 30 events. This year the festival will hit the road, with events taking place at Culture Perth and Kinross Libraries and Museums across the region, and other venues in Perth and Kinross, as well as online.  The online events are perfect for those people who are unable to travel.

We’ll be joined by Scots Makar Kathleen Jamie, the Witches of Scotland – Zoe Venditozzi and Claire Mitchell, and Chris Brookmyre, as well as Ally Heather, Jenny Colgan, Graeme Armstrong, TJ Emerson and more!

The full line-up and tickets are available on our website:
