An online Radio programme, fit celebrates the Scots Language, his been nominated for a top international award amongst the warls biggest Radio Stations in the Celtic Media Festival.

The monthly podcast his been nominated in the ‘magazine category’ and is competin against programmes fae BBC Alba an BBC Scotland as weel as BBC Ireland and Wales, for the Festival’s ‘Torc’ Award for Excellence.
Frieda Morrison, fa comes fae Deeside, Aiberdeenshire, sees the nomination as an important step in the promotion o the Scots Language.

Frieda is jined on the programme a throw the year by folklorist and musician, Steve Byrne and the programme is recorded in Edinburgh by Richard Werner at B&B Studios.
Celtic Media Festival director, Catriona Logan said: “The record breaking entries were whittled down by our dedicated national juries who, in all, watched and listened to over 370 hours of top quality submissions.”

The winners will be revealed at the Celtic Media Festival in Dunvargan, Co. Waterford, Ireland at the ein o April.
