SayAGaelicPhraseDay 2022 – THIS FRIDAY 18th February

#SayAGaelicPhraseDay is back on Friday, 18th February and we would love you to take part! Over 244,000 people engaged with #sayagaelicphraseday last February it would be brilliant if everyone could join in again.

It’s really easy to take part. If you speak Gaelic just make a video, record some audio, or type your favourite phrase and upload to social media. There was some amazing expressions last year! Use the hashtags #SayAGaelicPhraseDay and / or #LàAbairtNaGàidhlig

If you are not a Gaelic speaker (yet!) we have made a simple guide to get you started. Joy Dunlop has recorded some simple phrases for you here to try out. You can get creative and add them together or just record what Joy says. On Friday 18th Feb upload them to social media using the hashtags #SayAGaelicPhraseDay and / or #LàAbairtNaGàidhlig. Find out more at www.sayagaelicphraseday.com.

In even more exciting news, don’t miss Seachdain na Gàidhlig (World Gaelic Week) 21st – 27th March 2022. Find out more here http://seachdainnagaidhlig.scot
