MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards this Saturday!

Ìmar

Hi everyone, this Saturday is the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. After a difficult couple of years the event is back in person although in a reduced format. The nominees and sponsors will be there and it would be great if you could join us on BBC ALBA at 9pm to watch the show live (or on repeat on BBC iPlayer!). There will be fab performances from Dàimh, Gary Sutherland Scottish Dance Band, Megan Henderson, National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland, Hannah Rarity, The Canny Band, Kim Carnie and Ellen Macdonald, Hands Up for Trad Strathspey Band and Ìmar.

Everyone will be dressed up and ready for a celebration of the best of Scottish trad music in 2021. You can watch it on BBC ALBA (UK only) or worldwide on the BBC ALBA home page. You can follow all the results and craic live on using the hashtag #natrads on social media.
