English Fiddle Tunes Reunion
with Pete Cooper
Pete will lead the tunes in person on Wednesday evening at Cecil Sharp House, joined by Richard Bolton on cello and guitar, then on Thursday the same tunes on Zoom. You can join him for either session or, at no extra charge, both! Note that the workshop is two hours long; we’ll take a short break in the middle.
Cost: £20.00 (concessions £15)
In-person
Wednesday 15 October, 7.30-9.30pm at the Committee Room, Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regent’s Park Road, London NW1 7AY
and on Zoom Thursday 16 October, 7.30-9.30pm
A chance to refresh, revise and consolidate some of the great English traditional tunes Pete has taught in recent years. Even if you weren’t at the original classes, you are still welcome to try the pieces now. Many are very easy and straightforward. Written music for all the tunes is emailed as soon as you enrol, along with links to performances on You Tube. We’ll play everything more slowly at first, then speed up. These are the tunes, in sequence.

To enrol, email pete@petecooper.com. Please pay by bank transfer (Pete will send his bank details if you don’t already have them), or by PayPal (pete@petecooper.com) from outside the UK. In-person participants may pay in cash at the class, but cheques can no longer be accepted. Once your payment is received, you will be added to the group email list for the session, and a Zoom link will be sent, whether or not you choose to use it.
