Audacity Podcast Production is an extensive course designed to teach you everything you need to know about recording and editing your podcast in Audacity.
Audacity is one of the most popular pieces of software in audio production. It’s super easy to use, and it’s completely free.
If you’ve never recorded or edited audio before in your life, we’ll start right at the very beginning, walking you through where everything is, and how it works.
If you’re already using Audacity at a basic level, then there’s still loads of hints, tips, and techniques in here that’ll improve your sound quality, as well as save you time.
What’s in this course?
– First off, we’ll find and install Audacity
– We’ll then run through some fundamentals, such as how does audio look and play in Audacity? And how do you record your own audio?
– We’ll look at mixing together multiple files, like intro and outro music, saving your work, and creating your episode.
– We’ll answer questions in an easy to understand manner about volume levels, types of audio files, audio quality, and much more.
– We’ll show you tips and tricks that will vastly improve your audio, and your editing process.
– We’ll finish up by packaging your episode with titles and cover art embedded into the file itself.
The videos are short and to the point. On top of that, each video is followed up by a full written summary so you can easily come back later to look up something you’ve forgotten.
We’ll also be setting you tasks along the way, so that you’ll learn by actually doing. This will give you a sense of satisfaction and progression as you work your way through each module.
By the end of it, you’ll be ready to begin recording, editing, and publishing podcasts right away.
So head on through and take a look at the course.
