We are: looking for an enthusiastic individual to play a part in delivering the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Events and Conference Programme. You’ll play an important role in the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of each project within the diverse events environment for one of Scotland’s most dynamic arts and education institutions.
The Events and Conferences Programme includes, but is not limited to, receptions, gala dinners, salons, graduations, fellowships, development events and bespoke as well as high-profile international events.
You are: someone who won’t be fazed by a demanding, fast-changing and creative environment. This is a busy role and you will be required to work flexibly, accurately and effectively to strict deadlines and maintain a confident and calm attitude under pressure, whilst working with minimum supervision.
You must have: event and project-management experience and great communication and listening skills. You will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT packages as well as previous experience of working with members of the public, preferably in the delivery of events. Previous experience of a Higher Education or performing arts environment would be an advantage.
There will be a requirement for external working and out of hours and weekends to fulfil this post.
