Hands Up for Trad gain three year funding from Creative Scotland

rfo_2015-18_main2Hands Up for Trad are delighted to announce that we have been awarded 3 year Regular Funding by Creative Scotland. This will enable us to plan for the next 3 years rather than year to year. It’s very exciting!

From Creative Scotland: The aim of Regular Funding is to provide three-year funding support for a range and breadth of organisations that make a vital contribution to the current health and future development of the arts, screen and creative industries in Scotland. This route to funding is also a vital contributor to the delivery of the ambitions set out in our 10-year plan, Unlocking Potential, Embracing Ambition.

Regular Funding was introduced as part of a funding review that took place alongside the development of this 10-year plan and it opened for application on 9 April 2014, with a deadline of 7 July 2014. The portfolio of organisations being awarded Regular Funding for the period April 2015 to March 2018 was announced on 30 October 2014.

So look out for Hands Up for Trad! We will keep you updated on our website with all out new and existing projects.
