A NATIONAL 10-date tour of Gaelic panto Hansel agus Gretel agus Fèill Mhòr na Fuine (Hansel and Gretel and the Great Baking Festival) comes to Inverness next Thursday (December 8).
The story centres on a famine in the Enchanted Kingdom with Hansel and Gretel’s father is struggling to put food on the table for them.
When Hansel and Gretel get word of a Great Baking Festival their dreams of finding food look to be coming true – but what they don’t know is that THEY’LL end up on the menu.
Angus Macleod, who wrote and directs the panto, said: “The play takes the traditional fairy tale and gives it a fun, original twist with references to the popular Great British Bake Off.”
