Foot Stompin’ Free Scottish Music Podcast no 150

It’s here! The 150th Foot Stompin’ Free Scottish Music Podcast has arrived. It just seems like yesterday since the 100th 🙂 As usual we’ve got a great selection of Scottish music for you. We start of with the brand new CD from fiddler Iain MacFarlane. It is called Gallop to Callop and the track is called The Gallop To Callop Fiddle Set! Next is Karen Matheson’s latest Gaelic song CD – Urram and we follow it with a new release from Concerto Caledonia called Nathaniel Gow’s Dance Band. Then we announce the opening of BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award 2017 by playing a track from 2016 finalist Robbie Grieg’s new CD. We finish of the podcast with a real classic from Runrig – Loch Lomond Live! For lots more podcasts visit our website at www.scotpodcast.com
