Fochabers Fiddle Week, 3rd-6th April 2018

After five hugely successful years the Fochabers Fiddle Week returns in 2018 running from the 3rd – 6th April! We have four days of workshops and masterclasses with tutors at the forefront of Scottish traditional/folk music today then a student/tutor concert and ceilidh to finish it all off!

The 2018 tutors are…

Mike Vass

Gillian Frame

Jack Smedley : Rura

Mhairi Marwick : Fat-Suit

The event is delivered through a range of workshops and masterclasses for fiddle/violin players at 4 levels and culminates in a family ceilidh/concert night at which the students perform:

• ·       Beginners (P5-P6)

• ·       Juniors (P7+)

• ·       Intermediate (Grades 4/5)

• ·       Advanced (Grades 6+)
