Flowers of Edinburgh Concert 2014

Flowers of Edinburgh Concert 2014Saturday night’s Flowers of Edinburgh concert in Teviot House was a blast. It was great to hear so much brilliant music from Rona Wilkie and Morag Brown, Jamie Steele, Fiona Rutherford and Amy Duncan, Lucy Pringle and Chris Wright, Hugh MacDiamid’s Haircut, Mike Katz, Mark Maguire, Simon Thoumire, Amy MacDougall and Mary Macmaster, Steve Byrne and Mark Dunlop, and Keep it Up. I loved every minute of it!

I love being in the Debating Hall of Teviot House – it brings back so many great memories of the Edinburgh Folk Festival. The acoustics are also great and our front of house for the evening Pro Sound did an excellent job.

Saturday’s concert was in aid of charity Freedom from Torture. If you would like to read more about them visit their website http://www.freedomfromtorture.org/
