Early bird tickets for HebCelt 2024

A record number of early bird tickets for the 2024 edition of the beloved Lewis festival HebCelt went on sale at 12 noon on Friday 28th July, with keen festival-goers urged to act quickly to secure their places.

Following on from the success of last year’s event, which saw early bird tickets for the 2023 festival sell out in a record-breaking four and a half hours, festival organisers have set aside their biggest ever batch of early bird tickets to match demand.

Early bird tickets for the 2023 celebration of traditional music and local Hebridean culture were snapped up by eager fans both locally and from around the world last year, including from Germany, Australia, Canada, the USA and New Zealand. A limited number of HebCelt 2024 early bird tickets will be available at www.hebceltfest.com.

HebCelt Festival Director, Graham MacCallum, said: “We were absolutely blown away by the response to early bird tickets last year – the support from locals and those further afield who make the journey to HebCelt each year is just phenomenal. This year we’re releasing more early bird tickets than ever to try to meet demand and ensure more people can secure their tickets at this stage. We would still encourage people to move quickly if they’re keen to get early bird tickets for 2024 as we expect they will go fast again this year.”

HebCelt 2023 saw record attendances of 19,500 on Lews Castle Green this July, an increase of more than 8% compared to 2022 while overall attendances across the programme as a whole across the town rose by 6%.

From Wednesday 12 – Saturday 15 July 2023, the internationally acclaimed festival attracted crowds of all ages with over 35 musical performances, a host of cultural activities and a packed fringe programme of events for the whole family.

HebCelt 2024 will take place 17 – 20 July. For more information visit: www.hebceltfest.com.
