Creative in your Community

Are you aged 12 – 25 with an exciting creative project idea? The Highland Youth Arts Hub will contribute up to £500 for a project idea put forward by an individual, and up to £1,000 for a project idea put forward by a group of two or more people.
Creative in your Community has been set up by the Highland Youth Arts Hub. The HYAH is a new project that aims to encourage you to get involved with creative activity throughout the region – through setting up new workshops and projects in your area, raising awareness of opportunities or chances to develop new skills or to support you in the development of your own creative ideas or ambitions…

Creative in your Community aims to support young people aged 12-25 develop their own creative projects in their own communities.

This is your chance to take the seed of an idea and, with support from professional artists and creative people, turn it into a reality! Maybe you want to have a festival in your village, create a film, organise some workshops or put on a gig – it could be anything really!

We are looking for creative project ideas from young people who show ambition, enthusiasm or talent.

Deadlines for applications are:
