Choir Leader’s Training Manual

SS_ChoirManual_final-page-001

I was speaking to singer Sarah Hayes today and she mentioned that she had downloaded our Scotland Sings Choir Leader’s Training Manual. Sarah said that one day she would like to start her own choir and this would be a brilliant help. If you haven’t seen this already you should check it out. Co-written by Alison Burns and Christine Kydd, the manual covers so many important aspects of being a leader, from starting out and how to turn it into a business, to warm-up techniques and choosing venues.

This manual is a real treasure for any aspiring choir leader. From booking a venue to warming up a choir before singing this book will be invaluable to all wanting to start their own choir. Ali Burns and Christine Kydd are two of Scotland’s most respected community choir leaders and in writing this manual they are passing on information they have gained through years of experience.
