Breabach’s ‘Astar’ nominated European album of the year in Songlines magazine

It’s great to hear that award winning band Breabach have been nominated for European album of the year in Songlines Music Awards 2017. These nominations are voted on by Songlines readers and the winners are announced in the June issue.

Breabach have had a busy year with awards and won both Folk Band of the Year and Album of the Year at the BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards. They were also one of four finalists for Best Group at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

The band are heading to Europe this summer before playing a handful of UK dates in October and heading out to Canada in November. Active Events are currently scheduling the following for them:

February 2018 – UK
March/April 2018 – Australia and New Zealand
October 2018 – US/Canada

The band are also available for the US, Canadian and European summer festival circuits in 2018

For further information or two enquire about the band please contact Lisa Whytock lisa@activeevents.org.uk
