Are you aged between 16 and 27 and love playing and singing trad music? Why not enter the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award? This is now the sixteenth year of this award and it is exciting to get the process started to see who the 2016 winner will be!
Scots singer Claire Hastings won the 2015 Award and already has had some amazing opportunities to perform and learn. This could be you in 2016.
The closing date is Friday 3rd July. All you have to do is fill in the form and send us 10 minutes worth of music. Twelve musicians will go through to the semis in Wiston Lodge, South Lanarkshire 2-4th October 2015. If you are one of the 12 semi-finalists we will tell you the week of 17th August.
