Battle of The Folk Bands Winners 2024: Megan MacDonald, Chloë Bryce & Calum McIlroy

Congratulations to Megan MacDonald, Chloë Bryce & Calum McIlroy who won Battle of The Folk Bands on Saturday 20th January in the Drygate Brewery, Glasgow. Battle of The Folk Bands is a Hands Up for Trad project which is part of Celtic Connections festival. The event sells out every year and the enthusiastic audience is treated to a brilliant afternoon of music. Watch Megan MacDonald, Chloë Bryce & Calum McIlroy’s winning set below.

Five bands reached the final and they all performed brilliantly. They were Fidra, James Bauld Trio, Magnus Turpie Combo, Megan MacDonald, Chloë Bryce & Calum McIlroy and Ríl Óg. Click on the links to read more about them.
