We are hoping to see you at TradFest Edinburgh this Sunday May 7th for a great live Battle of The Folk Bands concert (tickets are on sale here) however if you can’t make it along you will be able to watch worldwide on YouTube! We will have a special show with all the bands performing and interviews with the musicians in the interval. It will be fab! You’ll also be able to take part in an online vote for your favourite and comment on your favourite bands. Watch it below or on our YouTube Channel.

The finalists of Battle of the Folk Bands 2017 are:

HECLA
Iona Fyfe Band

TRIP
DOSCA

This is the first Battle of The Folk Bands ran by Hands Up for Trad based on the similar folk band competitions of the 1970-90s in Edinburgh and elsewhere. Each band will perform for 15 minutes in the final on Sunday 7th May, La Belle Angèle at Tradfest in Edinburgh.
