Back to Beò concert series of folk/trad artists, Eastwood Park Theatre, Giffnock.

I would like to draw your attention to our Back to Beò concert series of folk/trad artists happening over the next few weeks here at Eastwood Park Theatre in Giffnock.

The Back to Beò concerts have been supported by Creative Scotland to help us relaunch live music at our venue and provide support performance opportunities to new and emerging artists, who have had their live performance development hampered massively over the last 18 months.

The concerts seek to help these artists by engaging them to support established acts and get them on stage to kick-start, or re-start, their live careers.

As well as supporting new and emerging talent, our concerts have been programmed in collaboration with Jenn Butterworth and adhere to the Bit Collective ethos in ensuring that line-ups fairly represent the current contemporary scene, with a balance between male/non-male performers and also ensuring representation of LGBTQ+ artists in headline and support billing as well.

Our remaining concerts run on the following dates:

Friday 22nd October: Ross Ainslie & Ali Hutton (with Jenn Butterworth) supported by Josie Duncan & Rebecca Hill
Saturday 23rd October: Siobhan Miller supported by Bradley Parker/Sophie Joint/Breanna Wilson & Roseanne Reid
Saturday 30th October: HEISK/ Man of the Minch (double bill)
Friday 5th November: The Shee supported by Hecla
Saturday 6th November: Pictish Trail supported by Hector Shaw & Scout
Sunday 7th November: Kinnaris Quintet supported by Lauren Collier Band & Isla Callister
