Snow Blind by NE3Folk

ne3suyrcoverOur tribute to the North East of England as that’s where we all met… Finishing off with a popular Scottish tune!

2x Alistair Anderson reels – Franklin River & Snow Blind, followed by John Keith Lang (Scottish trad).

NE3Folk are a contemporary instrumental trio comprised of fiddle, accordion and guitar. They draw on influences from their homelands; the music of the Shetland Islands and the Scottish Highlands, updating their own traditions with driving rhythms and intricate arrangements. Now based in Newcastle, they have spent the past 3 years performing across the UK at festivals and folk clubs, their music and performances receiving rave reviews wherever they go. Their combination of delicate melodies and rip roaring reels paired with a captivating stage presence make NE3Folk a band to be reckoned with.
