How Will You Escape by Findlay Napier

EPsquar2‘How Will You Escape’ is the first track from Findlay Napier’s new EP Very Interesting Extras which is released on 19th February 2016. The EP is a follow up to his successful 2015 release VIP: Very Interesting Persons (#2 in The Telegraph’s top folk albums of 2015).

Produced by Boo Hewerdine, VIE contains five previously unreleased songs are about real life characters who have led very interesting lives. Hewerdine co-wrote two of the songs: ‘How Will You Escape’ is about the life of Harry Houdini and muses on the dangers of celebrity.

He is touring the UK in February/March 2016 with festival appearances booked later in the year.

Findlay Napier is one of the most highly-regarded performers and creative forces on the Scottish music scene; thoroughly active and truly energised with a heart-warming zing.

Napier made his name touring and recording with multi-award winning traditional Scottish folk band Back of the Moon. In his more recent projects Queen Anne’s Revenge and The Bar Room Mountaineers his song-writing took centre stage and was described by The Sunday Herald as “Genuine songcraft and wit following in the Difford & Tilbrook tradition”.
