Ducks at Luss / House 108 by Tina Jordan Rees

This track is taken from ‘Beatha’ – the forthcoming debut flute and whistle album by Tina Jordan Rees. Ducks at Luss is a 7/8 tune in B minor. It’s followed by House 108 – a tune that flows between 7/8, 6/8 and 3/4, and that is dedicated to Tina’s housemates she lived with whilst studying Irish Music and Dance in Limerick. The track features Tina on flute, Seán Gray on guitar and electric guitar, Lea Larsen on bodhrán and James Lindsay on double bass.

Tina Jordan Rees is a Glasgow-based traditional musician originally from Lancashire. Tina is a multi-instrumentalist playing piano, flute, and whistles, and she is also a qualified Irish dance teacher. As an avid composer, Tina takes her influences from many places, including the Irish dance music tradition, where she is a household name.
