2015 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award and Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award winners, Talisk, have made a strong impression on the UK folk scene since their formation in 2014. They’re driving and energetic sound has lead to performances at some of Britain’s biggest festivals, including Cambridge Folk Festival, Cropredy Convention and Celtic Connections.
Concertina player, Mohsen Amini, was also recently crowned the 2016 BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year.
